Alana and Alyssa

Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself in the television. The parents of De La Garza were Mexican-American and Irish-American. Her birthplace was in Columbus, Ohio, on the 26th of December in 1976. Then she began moving to Texas where she pursued the field of physical therapy in the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas just a few months prior to moving into Orlando Florida. She took part in many different kinds of character roles including commercials and local independent movies. Despite small roles, she discovered her passion for acting. The year 2001 saw her move to New York where her first role was on All My Children's soap as Rosa Santos. Through the first half of 2000 she had small parts on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. The role she landed was in 2004 on the brief dramatic The Mountain. De La Garza, who was Maria Serrano on The Mountain was lucky to be able to appear alongside a number of the notable TV actors, such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch. In 2006, she was cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. The actress appeared on the show 85 times. Following a brief run, her character migrated over to Law & Order: LA. This character was a hit and has earned De La Garza several nominations such as Best Supporting Actress - Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. The year 2008 was the time she won the Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for Outstanding performances for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza, in a recurring cast role in CSI Miami was announced a moment or two later. She played Marisol Deko as Horatio Caine's wife. The most recent television appearance was on NBC's somewhat dark dramatic Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After just two episodes the show was canceled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are of Italian descent and also has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. The family she was raised in was an orthodox and religious family. Milano's professional career started at seven after her child's sitter took her to an audition. Her audition was in the top 1,000 applicants. She was selected as one of just four girls. Milano was featured in television ads, Off-Broadway productions as well as the American premiere of Jane Eyre.
